Nassau Chromium Settles EPA Suit Over Emissions

Law360, New York (July 30, 2010, 3:07 PM EDT) -- Nassau Chromium Plating Co. Inc. has reached an accord with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency over alleged violations of emissions standards at its Mineola, N.Y., chromium facilities.

The company revealed the settlement in a proposed consent judgment filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, saying it had reached the deal without admitting any liability in connection with the agency's allegations.
