Law360, New York (August 03, 2010, 2:12 PM ET) -- A California federal judge has transferred Columbia Casualty Co.’s suit seeking a declaratory judgment that it does not have to defend medical device maker SMI Liquidating Inc. and affiliates in product liability litigation over pain pumps, finding no significant ties to keep the case on the West Coast.
