Skadden Snags Kirkland & Ellis Derivatives Partner

Law360, New York (August 4, 2010, 2:16 PM EDT) -- Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP has added a derivatives regulation and litigation attorney from Kirkland & Ellis LLP to its Washington office.

Mark D. Young, who was once an assistant general counsel with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, started Monday at Skadden as a partner who will focus on financial services regulation, among other issues.

Young's practice also focuses on business and transactional matters, as well as legislative advocacy.
