Law360, New York (August 10, 2010, 4:33 PM ET) -- Police in South Korea raided the offices of Google Inc.'s Korean subsidiary Tuesday as part of an investigation into whether the Web giant illegally gathered data while photographing streets for its online mapping service.
A Korean cybercrime task force conducted the search as part of a probe into whether Google illegally gathered data from Wi-Fi networks using the cars that took photographs for Google Maps, the Korean National Police Agency said in a statement Tuesday.
