Suit Says VW's Audis Carried Infringing Shocks

Law360, New York (August 12, 2010, 1:09 PM EDT) -- Cloud Farm Associates LP says shock absorbers used in Volkswagen's Audi A4, Audi A5 and other models infringe two patents for a vehicle tilt control apparatus, revamped allegations that follow Volkswagen Group of America Inc.'s recent bid to dismiss the suit.

Volkswagen has used infringing absorbers in Audi models since 2008, in VW Touareg TDI models since 2009, and in VW Phaeton models since 2004, according to an amended complaint lodged Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
