Calif. Gay Marriage Ban Officially Lifted

Law360, New York (August 12, 2010, 5:05 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has decided not to stay his order overturning California's controversial Proposition 8, restoring the rights of same-sex couples to marry in the state even as proponents of the marriage restriction appeal.
