Yamaha Escapes Liability For Rhino Injury In Ala. Suit

Law360, New York (August 13, 2010, 11:29 AM EDT) -- A jury in Tallapoosa County, Ala., has found Yamaha Motor Corp. USA is not liable for a leg injury a man suffered while driving one of the company's Rhino off-road vehicles.

Thursday's 12-0 verdict in the Tallapoosa County Circuit Court in Alexander City, Ala., found no defect in the 2007 model year Rhino vehicle driven by plaintiff Paul Mathis.
