2nd Circ. Counterfeiting Ruling Boosts Brand Owners

Law360, New York (August 20, 2010, 6:01 PM EDT) -- A ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit that the online sale of a single counterfeit item is enough to give a brand owner jurisdiction to file a trademark infringement suit is being praised by attorneys as providing useful ammunition for brand owners in counterfeiting cases.
