WellPoint, Aetna Antitrust Suits Barred By Past Deals

Law360, New York (August 16, 2010, 6:15 PM EDT) -- A magistrate judge has recommended the dismissal of racketeering and antitrust suits filed by medical providers against WellPoint Inc. and Aetna Inc., saying the claims are barred by settlement agreements in a previous case that accused the insurers of underpaying providers.
