Humanscale Can't Undo Keyboard Support IP Suit Loss

Law360, New York (August 18, 2010, 4:06 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has rejected Humanscale Corp.'s post-trial attempts to overturn a jury verdict against it in its battle with rival CompX International Inc. over keyboard support systems patents.

Judge James R. Spencer of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia on Monday denied Humanscale's bid for judgments as a matter of law on noninfringement and invalidity as well as the company's other post-verdict motions.

Humanscale launched the suit in February 2009, accusing CompX and CompX Waterloo of infringing U.S. Patent Number 5,292,097....
