Silicon Labs Targets Airoha Over Wireless Patents

Law360, New York (August 17, 2010, 12:13 PM EDT) -- Silicon Laboratories Inc. has accused Taiwanese semiconductor company Airoha Technology Corp. of producing computer chips that infringe two patents for wireless communications technology.

Airoha has sold at least seven chip models in the U.S. that infringe patents covering methods for synthesizing high-frequency signals, according to a suit lodged Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.

The complaint was filed by Jerry R. Selinger and Monique M. Raub of Patterson & Sheridan LLP and Pat Heptig of Heptig Law Group Ltd....
