Bryan Cave Reps Windstream In $782M Q-Comm Buy

Law360, New York (August 18, 2010, 2:48 PM EDT) -- Windstream Corp. has agreed to buy Kansas-based fiber services provider and local exchange carrier Q-Comm Corp. for about $782 million in a bid to continue expanding its infrastructure network.

The companies entered a definitive agreement that calls for Windstream to pay about $278 million in cash for the company, repay Q-Comm debts estimated at $267 million and issue about 20.6 million shares of common stock worth about $237 million, Windstream said Tuesday.
