Oracle, I2 Software Dispute Remains In Eastern Texas

Law360, New York (August 20, 2010, 1:43 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has denied Oracle Corp.'s motion to move a patent infringement suit brought by i2 Technologies Inc. over supply chain management software out of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and into the Northern District of California.

Judge Leonard Davis of the Texas court ruled Tuesday that California was significantly more convenient for Oracle and its witnesses and that Texas was significantly more convenient for i2 and its witnesses, and that he would not substitute Oracle's convenience for i2's....
