Solectron Investors Win Cert. In Suit Over $3.6B Merger

Law360, New York (August 19, 2010, 2:32 PM EDT) -- A California judge has certified a class of former Solectron Corp. shareholders challenging the company's $3.6 billion merger with rival electronics manufacturing services provider Flextronics International Ltd.

Robbins Umeda LLP, which represents the plaintiffs, announced the decision Thursday, a week after an order was issued by Judge Joseph H. Huber of the Superior Court of the State of California for Santa Clara County.
