SEC, EBSA Can Improve Communication: Report

Law360, New York (February 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Though the Employee Benefits Security Administration and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission have taken steps toward better cooperation, there is still room for improvement, according to a report released by the Government Accountability Office.

The GAO drafted the report at the request of Wisconsin Senator Mike Enzi, who asked the agency to evaluate the level of cooperation between the SEC and the EBSA.
