WaMu Securities Case Added To Confirmation Process

Law360, New York (August 24, 2010, 8:07 PM EDT) -- A federal bankruptcy judge ruled Tuesday that an adversary case seeking to claw back securities transferred from Washington Mutual Inc. to buyer JPMorgan Chase Bank NA in the hours before WaMu’s collapse will be handled as part of the bank’s Chapter 11 plan confirmation process.
