Stryker To Snap Up Gaymar Industries For $150M

Law360, New York (August 25, 2010, 2:17 PM EDT) -- Orthopedic device maker Stryker Corp. on Wednesday revealed plans to shell out about $150 million to acquire Gaymar Industries Inc., aiming to boost its footprint in the high-performance support surface and pressure ulcer management market.

Gaymar, based in Orchard Park, N.Y., specializes in support surface and pressure ulcer management solutions, as well as temperature management, and has a portfolio of capital and disposable products in both the U.S. and international markets, according to Stryker.
