Chemtura, Insurers Ink Diacetyl Suit Coverage Deal

Law360, New York (August 26, 2010, 3:54 PM EDT) -- Days after a judge signed off on bankrupt Chemtura Corp.'s $50 million deal to settle most respiratory disease claims it faces over the buttered popcorn flavoring component diacetyl, Chemtura has reached a settlement with its insurers to cover part of the deal's cost.
