Law360, New York (August 26, 2010, 4:03 PM ET) -- A putative class of quarry workers in a wage-and-hour case against building materials company Cemex Inc. has dropped its nationwide Fair Labor Standards Act claims and will move forward under California law.
Judge A. Howard Matz of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California signed off on an order Wednesday dismissing without prejudice five claims asserted by the putative class in a November 2009 amended consolidated complaint.
