Former Morgan Stanley Employee's Case Stays Alive

Law360, New York (February 21, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Former Morgan Stanley employee Arthur Riel filed an amended complaint in his wrongful termination suit Tuesday, just days after a judge dismissed seven out of eight of his claims.

U.S. District Court Judge Thomas P. Griesa dismissed Riel’s claims Friday, leaving only one claim in the former Law IT department member’s suit against his former employer: the claim that Morgan Stanley breached its executive incentive compensation plan by firing Riel for cause.
