Skilled Healthcare Fights Injunction In Patients' Suit

Law360, New York (August 30, 2010, 8:06 PM EDT) -- Skilled Healthcare Group Inc. says it will appeal a California court’s permanent injunction ordering the company to abide by state and federal laws that set mandatory minimum staffing requirements in nursing homes, in a case that saw a jury award a class of patients $671 million for the company's alleged failure to provide adequate care.
