Remand Bid Defeated In Propofol Class Action

Law360, New York (August 31, 2010, 6:46 PM EDT) -- The plaintiff in a proposed class action against units of Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Baxter International Inc. and McKesson Corp. over the anesthetic propofol has lost a bid to get the case remanded from federal to state court.

Judge James C. Mahan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada issued an order Friday rejecting plaintiff Charles Rader's request to remand the case to the Eighth Judicial District Court of the State of Nevada.
