Veteran SEC Enforcement Atty Heads For Steptoe

Law360, New York (August 31, 2010, 12:38 PM EDT) -- The associate director of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Enforcement, Christopher R. Conte, will rejoin his former firm Steptoe & Johnson LLP in September, following a 17-year career as one of the SEC's top securities enforcers.

Conte will return to Steptoe's Washington office in September, as a partner in the firm's securities litigation and enforcement practice, Steptoe announced Monday.
