Hitachi Has No Patent Deal With Read-Rite: 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (September 1, 2010, 4:47 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has backed a lower court’s finding that Hitachi Ltd. did not have a binding patent licensing agreement related to hard-disk drives with bankrupt Read-Rite Corp. and that the electronics maker waited too long to try to preserve its rights.
