Staffer Sues Polsinelli Over Premerger Paid Leave

Law360, New York (September 02, 2010, 2:31 PM ET) -- Polsinelli Shughart PC is facing a suit from a legal secretary who claims her employer wrongly refused to pay for vacation time she accrued while working at one of the two Kansas City, Mo., legal shops that merged to create the firm.

Kathleen Hadley, who left in April, says she is owed $5,310 for six weeks of accrued paid leave in a four-count complaint filed Tuesday in the Circuit Court of Jackson County by Mark A. Jess of Employee Rights Law Firm.
