WIN Fails To Nix Chmura Info Management Patent

Law360, New York (September 3, 2010, 4:17 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has granted consulting firm Chmura Economics & Analytics LLC's bid to dismiss a suit brought by Worldwide Interactive Network Inc. asking the court to find invalid or not infringed a patent for economic and work force development management technology.

Judge Thomas Phillips of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee dismissed WIN's suit without prejudice on Wednesday, ruling that the court lacked personal jurisdiction over Richmond, Va.-based CEA.
