MCC Eurochem Takes Fertilizer Duties To CIT

Law360, New York (September 7, 2010, 5:23 PM EDT) -- Russia-based MCC Eurochem has challenged the final results of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s review of anti-dumping duties on exports of a type of fertilizer.

The fertilizer producer filed a complaint Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade over Commerce's Aug. 20 decision to set a 21.79 percent dumping margin on solid urea from Russia.

Solid urea is a high-nitrogen content fertilizer made by reacting ammonia with carbon dioxide, and the review covered anti-dumping duties on products exported between July 1, 2008, and June 30,...
