P&G Wins Dismissal Of Vicks Vitamin C Class Action

Law360, New York (September 7, 2010, 12:59 PM EDT) -- Procter & Gamble Co. has won the dismissal of a proposed class action alleging the consumer products maker misrepresented the effectiveness of certain cold and flu treatments containing vitamin C.

Judge Timothy S. Black of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio granted P&G’s motion to dismiss Friday in a case challenging the marketing for Vicks DayQuil and Vicks NyQuil products.
