SK Foods CEO Released From Jail On $6M Bail

Law360, New York (September 7, 2010, 5:50 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has ordered the former CEO of SK Foods LP to be released from jail on $6 million bail, ending his seven-month stay on charges related to an extensive price-fixing conspiracy in the tomato industry.

Judge Lawrence Karlton of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California agreed on Friday to allow Frederick Scott Salyer to return to his home in Pebble Beach, Calif., despite warnings from prosecutors that Salyer was likely to flee the country.
