Gucci Relatives Could Pay $2M In Trademark Suit

Law360, New York (September 8, 2010, 4:53 PM EDT) -- A magistrate judge has recommended that the daughter and ex-wife of a former Gucci America Inc. executive, as well as their business partner, pay $1.9 million in damages and attorneys' fees to the high-end brand for allegedly infringing the Gucci trademark.

Judge James C. Francis IV of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Tuesday recommended that Jennifer Gucci, her daughter Gemma Gucci and their business partner Edward Litwak pay just over $650,000 in damages and $1.27 million in attorneys' fees...
