Trader Detained For Pretrial Release Violation

Law360, New York (September 8, 2010, 7:00 PM EDT) -- A federal magistrate judge has revoked a $453,000 bond for indicted securities trader Ahmad Haris Tajyar for violating the terms of his pretrial release and ordered Tajyar detained until his trial in January.

Judge Victor Kenton of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California put Tajyar back into U.S. Marshals’ custody last Thursday for failing to comply with at least three of his release conditions, ending about four months of supervised release following his arrest in March on securities fraud charges.
