Law360, New York (September 08, 2010, 4:43 PM ET) -- Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. said it would sell stores and service stations at 25 locations if it succeeds in its hostile takeover bid for Casey's General Stores Inc., a vow the Canadian convenience store giant is making as part of an agreement reached in principle with the Federal Trade Commission.
In a statement Wednesday, Couche-Tard said the agreement to divest, subject to a formal consent decree and approval by FTC commissioners, would allow the company to acquire Midwest convenience store giant Casey's.
