He previously served as a special assistant to the assistant attorney general in the civil division of the United States Department of Justice, and is a former law clerk to the Honorable Roger L. Wollman, Circuit Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Laue graduated from Oral Roberts University (summa cum laude) in 1983 and obtained his law degree from Cornell University (magna cum laude) in 1986, where he was a note editor of the Cornell Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board....
