Law360, New York (September 10, 2010, 1:09 PM ET) -- Teknor Apex Co. has been dismissed from Unilever Bestfoods and KIK Custom Products Inc.'s wide-ranging lawsuit seeking payment for the cleanup of soil and groundwater contamination at Rhode Island's Peterson/Puritan Inc. Superfund site.
Judge Ronald R. Lagueux signed off on the order dropping Teknor from the case in the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island on Thursday.
The companies have entered into a settlement and release agreement with Teknor, according to Unilever and KIK's motion to dismiss Teknor. No further details were provided....
