SAG Settles With Actors Over Foreign Royalties

Law360, New York (September 14, 2010, 4:38 PM EDT) -- Screen Actors Guild Inc. announced Tuesday that it had agreed to settle a class action over the collection and distribution of foreign royalties to performers, paving the way for millions of dollars in payments to the guild's members.

The suit was initially filed in the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Los Angeles, in 2007 by actor Ken Osmond, who played Eddie Haskell on "Leave It to Beaver” and spent nearly 20 years in the Los Angeles Police Department.
