Skyhook Sues Google Over Cell Phone GPS Technology

Law360, New York (September 16, 2010, 12:50 PM EDT) -- Boston-based Skyhook Wireless Inc. has launched two lawsuits accusing Google Inc. of infringing patents that cover positioning technology used in cell phones and using dirty tricks to force Skyhook out of that lucrative market.

Skyhook on Wednesday launched a patent action in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and an unfair competition suit in the Massachusetts Superior Court.
