Chevron, Others Sued Over Goodyear Worker's Death

Law360, New York (February 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The family of a dead Goodyear worker is taking more than 100 companies to court over claims they knowingly exposed the workforce to toxic products without warning of the health hazards.

The estate of Melvin Vondra, who died of leukemia after working at Goodyear’s Lincoln, Nebraska plant for almost 30 years, blames Chevron, ExxonMobil and another 120 oil and chemical companies for his death.
