Judge Boots Investor Class Action Against Deutsche

Law360, New York (September 17, 2010, 4:36 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has tossed an investor-led class action against two Deutsche Bank AG units, ruling that fund managers had fulfilled their legal responsibilities by warning shareholders of the inherent risks in real estate investment trusts.

Judge John G. Koeltl of the U.S. District Court Southern District of New York on Thursday dismissed the suit lodged by investors who bought shares of two collapsed real estate investment funds managed by Deutsche subsidiaries RREEF American LLC and Deutsche Investment Management Americas Inc.
