Ackman Venture Contests Ruling On Stuy Town

Law360, New York (September 17, 2010, 7:44 PM EDT) -- Hedge fund investor William Ackman’s joint venture reportedly has appealed a ruling by a New York court that barred it from taking control of Stuyvesant Town-Peter Cooper Village, Manhattan’s largest apartment complex, and paved the way for bondholders in the $3 billion mortgage to put the property up for sale instead.
