Lockheed Wins Dismissal Of FCA Suit Over F-22

Law360, New York (September 17, 2010, 6:27 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has dismissed a False Claims Act lawsuit accusing Lockheed Martin Corp. of concealing problems with F-22 fighter planes it was providing the U.S. Air Force as part of an $87 billion contract, saying the allegations are not specific enough.

Judge Julie E. Carnes of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia ruled Friday that the suit brought by relator Darrol Olsen on behalf of the federal government shouldn't go forward because the allegations weren't pled sufficiently.
