WIAV, Nokia Settle Cell Phone Tech Patent Suit

Law360, New York (September 21, 2010, 3:32 PM EDT) -- WIAV Solutions LLC and Nokia Corp. have settled WIAV's allegations that Nokia infringed its patents for cell phone link adaptation technology, following a failed bid for summary judgment by Nokia.

Judge Robert E. Payne signed off on the companies' stipulation of dismissal in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia on Monday, the same day that the companies announced to the court that they had settled the litigation.
