Samsung US Subsidiary Let Out Of SRAM Litigation

Law360, New York (September 21, 2010, 7:58 PM EDT) -- Samsung Electronics America Inc., a U.S. subsidiary of the South Korean electronics giant, has won a bid to escape sprawling litigation over alleged price-fixing of static random access memory products.

Judge Claudia Wilken on Tuesday granted SEA's motion for summary judgment regarding claims brought by both direct and indirect purchasers in the multidistrict litigation proceeding in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
