Sharp Adds Solar Producer Recurrent For $305M

Law360, New York (September 22, 2010, 11:50 AM EDT) -- In a bid to bolster its North American solar panel business, Japanese electronics manufacturer Sharp Corp. announced Wednesday that it had acquired Recurrent Energy in a $305 million all-cash deal.

The deal, which is subject to balance sheet adjustments, is scheduled to close before the end of 2010, the two companies said.
