Intel, Via Didn't Infringe Circuit Patent, Fed. Circ. Rules

Law360, New York (September 22, 2010, 7:21 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed that Intel Corp. and Via Technologies Inc. did not violate Computer Cache Coherency Corp.’s interface circuit patent.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on Wednesday upheld a lower court’s grant of summary judgment of non-infringement to the defendants, concluding that the accused chipset product lines did not include a key limitation related to a so-called SNOOP signal.
