Builder Appeals Standing Ruling In VA Contract Spat

Law360, New York (September 24, 2010, 6:27 PM EDT) -- A would-be bidder for a $25 million construction project at a Missouri veterans hospital has appealed a federal judge's decision that the contractor lacks standing to pursue a suit against the U.S. government because it is no longer led by a veteran.

Tennessee-based Totolo/ King Joint Venture filed a notice of appeal Thursday in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, referencing Judge Christine O.C. Miller's Sept. 7 order that the contractor no longer qualifies as an interested party because of the death of partner William Totolo....
