Former Cain Exec Gets 30 Months For Embezzlement

Law360, New York (September 24, 2010, 7:07 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has ordered the former controller of New York health care investment firm Cain Brothers & Co. LLC to serve 30 months in prison for embezzling more than $734,000 from the company during his tenure.

Judge Lewis Kaplan of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Friday also sentenced former controller Richard Tedeschi to three years supervised release and ordered him to pay $521,000 in restitution, according to prosecutors.
