Chinese, Mexican Cos. Dumping Copper Pipes: DOC

Law360, New York (September 27, 2010, 6:16 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce released final determinations Monday that Chinese and Mexican companies were dumping copper pipes and tubes in the U.S. at unfairly low prices.

Chinese producers have sold seamless refined copper pipe and tube in the U.S. at dumping margins ranging from 11.25 percent to 60.85 percent, while Mexican producers have sold seamless refined copper pipe and tube in the United States at dumping margins ranging from 24.89 percent to 31.43 percent, according to Commerce.
