Oracle Hits Micron With DRAM Price-Fixing Suit

Law360, New York (September 27, 2010, 7:40 PM EDT) -- In the latest salvo over the price-fixing scheme related to dynamic random access memory chips, Oracle America Inc. has accused Micron Technology Inc. of selling high-priced DRAM chips to Sun Microsystems Inc., which Oracle acquired earlier in 2010.

In a lawsuit filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, Oracle notes that several companies have agreed to pay nearly $1 billion in fines to federal authorities.
