Sears Settles Sales Commissions Class Action

Law360, New York (September 28, 2010, 4:28 PM EDT) -- Sears Holdings Corp. has settled with sales staff who launched a class action alleging the retail giant failed to pay them proper commissions.

Sears has agreed to pay $36,114 to class members plus incentive awards of no more than $1,500 each for the lawsuit's four lead plaintiffs, according to the plaintiffs' unopposed motion in support of settlement, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.
