DuPont Employee's Frontpay Award Reversed

Law360, New York (March 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- An appellate court Thursday overturned a 2005 district court ruling awarding a disabled former DuPont Specialty Chemicals employee $200,000 in frontpay for the company’s violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The case was brought by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on behalf of Laura Barrios, who worked at an E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Co. plant.
